Club 18 to 70

My dirt-cheap, er I mean pleasingly inexpensive Nikon 50mm f/1.8 lens arrived today from Hong Kong. My first thoughts: wow, that's a small lens... My second thoughts: wow, that's razor thin depth of field... So during a break at work I pointed it at anything and everyone, and this was the best shot I came away with - the currently packed-away-in-my-Crumpler 18-70mm Nikon kit lens.

Now I have no excuse not to be looking for portraits to shoot.
